The IMFSE degree
Once you have obtained all 120 ECTS credits and have completed the IMFSE programme, you have become a Fire Safety Engineer! You will receive 1 joint degree certificate, signed by the Full Partners. The holder of an IMFSE degree can use the title of Master of Science (MSc).
The academic degrees of our joint master degree are "International Master of Science in Fire Safety Engineering" and "Teknologie masterexamen Huvudområde: Brandteknik".
Career Perspectives after graduation
A Fire Protection Engineer fulfills a broad range of duties, in various ways related to fire. This can range from designing fire protection for a space station, to protecting treasures such as the U.S. Constitution, to safely securing the occupants of a high-rise building from fire hazards. Fire Safety Engineers are in great demand by corporations, educational institutions, consulting firms and government bodies around the world. An IMFSE master degree could also make you eligible for a PhD position.
92,5% of our alumni say that they had the feeling that the IMFSE programme prepared them (very) well for a job and 87,8% of our alumni reported that they implement a lot of their IMFSE knowledge and skills (very) often in their job. 72,6% of our alumni explicitly mentioned that their IMFSE degree has impacted their level of salary in a positive way.
